Glashaus im Clarapark in Leipzig

Glass house is always very dependent on staff. Can be great and friendly but also like the always bad-tempered bouncer of the currently “in” club. Prices according to the location not cheap but acceptable.

Duck "to go" was really tasty, yeast from the stand for 4.20 € is very expensive.

Not only the attentive restaurant staff was the total bestseller during my visit, but also the good atmosphere. Mother and I were too present together and each of us ordered something different, for my part I can say that I tried a pinch of everything and It was immediate. I found the bid extremely sympathetic. We find the inn to be in keeping with the times for all events, whether with a husband, friends or family; ).

It's really nice in the glass house, the employees are great trying their best BUT there are too few employees. Man could do a two more !! I can imagine that as a boss you don't want to hear that (costs money) ...... We have already tried to call several times (see history), NONE can answer. Maybe think about the employees and not just about the expenses !!!!!!!

Despite lockdown, a lot of effort is made to at least take care of the walkers outside the home. The range of bratwurst, soup and drinks is really good and everything is delicious. Thanks for at least a bit of gastronomic service.

Meatball with rolls and french fries ?. Fresh delicious. Not too greasy. Coffee very good.

Martha and Martin, our Martin's geese, were delicious. We picked up our goose menu hot and fragrant and ate it at home. The service was excellent and the staff was super friendly and committed even in these difficult times. I'll be back soon.

It was very, very tasty. We were eight and really all eighth dishes were great. I especially recommend the onion soup as a starter ? the two were also very friendly and put you in a good mood. We would love to come back.

The waiters are friendly and do their best to meet customer requirements. The buffet is rich and varied. The furnishings are tasteful and combine the old with the new. Toilets are very clean. Unfortunately, you cannot park here because the café is in the middle of the park. You can endure it here for a long time and we always like to come back here.

My cocktail was great (pina colada) and staff was friendly. Hand sanitizer available. The Kaiserschmarrn was simply uncooked. It looked half cooked but it tasted of raw pancake dough. It was served with fresh blueberries and a strawberry, very tasty, but hardly any sugar (which should automatically come with this meal.) I took it home and pan fried it and it turned out amazing! My husband’s Wiener schnitzel was OK, tasty, my pasta with shrimps was bland and hardly tasting of anything else than oil and a tiny hint of parsley. Lovely place to sit outside in a park in a breezy summer evening.

2 stars for the waitresses and one for breakfast. We were a group at brunch. The breakfast was completely ok except for the rolls. But lunch was impossible. The warm food was never refilled. Partly lukewarm. The side dishes were only rice and risotto. Great selection ... The salad plates looked like a bombing raid. The taste of the whole thing ... a 3minus. Too bad. Yes it was full. But then I can't offer ala Card (if I don't have the buffet in mind).

Location very nice, employees tried hard. There is nothing more to say. By a breakfast buffet I understand something else. We were there at 10:30 am. The breakfast buffet is set up until 12 noon. There were still 3 rolls. 35 minutes later there was a supply. I would not recommend breakfast in the glass house.

It's a shame, the glass house in Leipzig actually has potential, but if every little guest request is impossible, then it won't work. The absolute highlight was the occupation of the grill stand. An even more unfriendly and unmotivated service was probably not to be found. Children waiting at the ice cream stand are ignored at first. If the menu says fried potatoes, you get small, halved potatoes that have been turned in oil. But it can be used for a beer in the open air.

Unfortunately the Königsberger Klöpse were totally wrong. Why is the Unmege beetroot included? The sauce didn't work at all. Not a trace of capers and the sauce was thick. The cook should take a look at a simple cookbook. Less is sometimes more. The price was in no way justified. The dish is not recommended. V. Bartnick

The two of us were there on 07/29/20 at around half past three and sat down at a table outside. It wasn't really full and there were at least 3 waitresses. Nevertheless, it took a long time to be noticed. We ordered drinks and 2 different tarte flambée. The drinks came quickly and, after a while, so did the food. Unfortunately, both tarte flambée were nothing. Evil people would say that the glass house is probably for tourists and they can live with it .. but we are Leipzig residents and if I order tarte flambée over 10 €, then it has to be right. It's really only about size and topping. There was a lot of dough on the board, but the topping and that was also rather sparse ... only referred to a maximum of 2/3 and that just doesn't work! Also, the dough (probably because there was nothing on it) was rather dry biscuit ... I had ordered extra with chanterelles, that was a big mistake. The mushrooms had absolutely no taste and were rather watery. I suspect they were just watered and not cleaned. Cardinal mistake! Something like that should simply not happen to such a restaurant. It's a shame actually.

Delicious ice cream, great coffee in almost every flavor. And the food and snacks are very lovingly and deliciously presented. And of course the taste is not neglected either. And the service was very nice, polite and attentive.

Was actually always enthusiastic, but the waitress last night was so unfriendly and threw us out around 9:30. 8:45 pm were also greeted with the sentence "if you still want to eat something you have to hurry up". Then didn't even give coasters anymore. Salad was totally too salty.

Since Clarapark is my favorite park in general, it's easy to assess. In summer you sit around the glass house in the green. With service or collection at the kiosk. The prices are of course typically sporty for Leipzig. Hopefully there will be concerts in the Park stage again soon.

Nice place foe good meal and relax with family or friends?

Great vibe in the beer garden but the service in the hut was very slow. The pink haired lady was working alone and was very passive aggressive about taking her time despite the long queues. Quite rude as well. Overall detracts from the experience somewhat.

Unfortunately bad service but still nice location. They want to be more than they are. Waitress was kind of unfriendly.

The expense of the food was significantly less than expected, my sis And I were really thrilled. My buddy was around so we emerged here for dinner, superb food And atmosphere. Didn't have to wait around very long to be seated, was delighted by how fresh and clean everything was. Eveything tasted great, no complaints from us. The staff had been genuinely polite, happy with the service.

A place to relax after walking through Zetkin park and Auwald. Excellent food and hot drinks, snacks and cake, whatever you desire. Very friendly personnel. Recommended day and evening

This is my favourite breakfast and coffee place in Leipzig. Great service, delicious food, nice location in the middle of the Clara Park.

Oh, rather loosen up, given the 'hipness' of the place. Good for any type of relaxation consumer. People quite glancy, in the sense that they throw glances at each other, which I personally find rather enjoyable. :) Fair prices, and an overall good vibe.

A nice place to make a break and have an ice cream our a drink (hot or cold), while being in the park. Is open all year round.

Came for breakfast. They had a nice buffet (all you can eat) with a glass of juice for about eight euros. Coffee is separate. Staff is nice and location is great.

Very Nice atmosphere and good food

A good stop while visiting Clara-Zetkin-Park where you could have ice cream on a hot day or coffee or tea on a cold day. The chai latte and the chocolate drinks were superb!
